It was peach season a few weeks back, so I decided to make a paleo peach crisp – because really, do you think we need to consume more sugar? The good thing about this recipe is that it is super easy to make! I found this recipe here on Elana’s Pantry and only tweaked it slightly by adding a pinch of coconut sugar and cinnamon to the peaches. It turned out great and super juicy. Next time though, I think I will add some nuts like pecans or almonds to the crisp part because almond flour doesn’t get that crispy. In fact, it could be worth it to bake the crisp ahead and then sprinkle it on the peaches after they come out of the oven. I guess paleo granola would be just as tasty if eaten this way, too!
